Bookworms rejoice! The beautiful Mohammed bin Rashid library is opening in Al Jaddaf soon, and it is a sight to behold. Its architecture is inspired by a rehl (a traditional lectern which holds the holy Quran), and is over a million square feet filled to the brim with literary goodness. The record-breaking library will house around 4.5 million books, over one million audio titles and over two million video titles and e-books.

Deira Night Souq

The uncompleted Palm Deira is being refashioned into the Deira Islands, and the Deira Night Souq is slated to be one of the first tourist attractions on it. The souq will only open past sunset and will stay open far past the wee hours of the night. It will have over 5300 outlets spread along 1.9 kilometres, so be sure to put on your walking boots and practise your haggling skills

Warner Bros World

Yas Island is going to get just a little bit wackier this July! Warner Bros World will comprise of 6 immersive zones, and will feature activities such as the Flintstones Bedrock River Adventure and experiences inspired by Batman, Superman, the Looney Tunes and Scooby Doo.

Cityland Mall

Shopping malls and nature don’t necessarily have to be mutually exclusive, as Dubai’s latest mall proves. Cityland Mall is the world’s first nature-inspired mall, and is set to open later this year. It will house an enormous 200,000 sq ft botanical garden, the city’s largest Carrefour, VOX cinemas as well as several dining and retail options.

Al Qana

Abu Dhabi’s newest entertainment and tourist destination is opening its doors soon. While located in the heart of the city, it is designed to take you away from the hustle and bustle. It will contain a Marina club, several upscale retail stores, restaurants, a Cinema, an Amphitheatre, and even Abu Dhabi’s largest aquarium. It’s the perfect weekend getaway in the nation’s capital!
