The much-anticipated, first-of-its-kind event, Expo 2020 Dubai finally kick-started with all its glory and grandeur on 1st October 2021. The event was initially scheduled to take place in 2020. However, the global pandemic and the resultant flight restrictions forced the rescheduling of the event.

The marquee event was anticipated to gather a huge crowd. However, it has surpassed all expectations and welcomed 2.3 million visitors during the first month, ending on 31st October 2021. People, including notable personalities and celebrities, belonging to 185 nationalities visited this event. Not only this, but a whopping 12.4 million people enjoyed this world fair online.

During the first month, Expo 2020 Dubai touched two main topics; climate & biodiversity and space. Several shows and performances were enjoyed by visitors depicting these themes.
