It currently has 2,240 students from over 80 nationalities.

The school made headlines by being the first in the UAE to offer the Swiss curriculum, International Baccalaureate (IB). The school has been rated outstanding by the KHDA in terms of health, safety care and support for students with special needs.

For a school that started with just 9 students back in 1961, IHS has done well for itself over the years. It now has over 15,000 students and 800 teachers spread over three campuses. Despite being one of Dubai’s best schools, and the best Indian school in the city, it is hailed for being economically priced. Fees start at AED 4000 at KG, and end up rising very little to AED 8,500 for Grade 12.

Indian High School Dubai follows the CBSE curriculum with core subjects from grades 1-4 including English, Hindi, Arabic, Mathematics, General Science, Social Studies, Art Education, Moral Science / Islamic Studies, Work Experience, Physical and Health Education as well as Computer Education.

The school’s main strength is its students. There is a clear focus on personal development, social behaviour and attitude. Significant efforts are made to instill community values and to teach students to care for the environment.

Facilities at the main campus include a number of state-of-the-art ICT laboratories, three science laboratories, a home science laboratory, an auditorium (with 1800 person seating capacity), canteen, as well as a library and research center.
