The house was designed by a collaboration of Cywinski Jackson and Cutler-Anderson Architects of Bainbridge Island, Washington. The mansion is a huge modern design in the Pacific lodge style. This home was designed to save from earthquakes, tornadoes, and bomb blasts.
Pensmore Mansion is made unique because it is an insulated concrete form structure designed to showcase sustainable construction techniques on a large scale, with it being designed to be earthquake resistant, bulletproof, blast-proof, capable of withstanding an EF5 tornado, bug resistant, and fire-resistant—and whose construction was completed in 2016.
